CLASSIFICATIONS OF HAUNTINGS
As a research
team, API has came up with our own classifications for identifying hauntings.
CLASS
1: No evidence such as: photos, meter readings, EVP or psychic impressions at the time of the investigation.
CLASS
2: No evidence such as: photos, meter readings, EVP, but has psychic impressions, such as: a feeling of being watched,
not being alone, catching movement out of the corner of your eye.
CLASS
3: Same as class 2 with cold or warm spots
CLASS
4: Same as class 3 with photos of spirit orbs or anomalies.
CLASS
5: Same as class 4 with a very strong sense of presence, such as odors,
smells, unexplained footsteps, rapping, or knocking.
CLASS
6: Includes at least one of the following: Movement of objects, entity photos, or EVP recording in a controlled environment.
CLASS
7: Physical sensation of a time or dimension distortion
CLASS
8: Actual sighting of apparition or anomalies with witnesses
CLASS
9: Residual haunting: no interaction
CLASS
10: Intelligent haunting: interaction during investigation
Please remember that ghosts cannot hurt you, they can scare you and cause you to hurt yourself.
